Hello Delorean fans! The benefit concert for the Jason Ray memorial fund was a great success, and we, alongside of our good friends Lakeland, Psalm 100, and 9 PM Traffic were able to raise over $900 for the fund! Thank you so much to everyone who came out and was a part of this event.

During the concert, you may have noticed mics everywhere and video cameras rolling. This is because Delorean has a live DVD coming out soon! The details of the DVD will emerge as it wraps up post production, but in the meantime, you can listen to audio clips of the concert on the flash jukebox or on our myspace page!

Recently, a dear friend of the band, Jason Ray, who is better known to many as the UNC mascot RAMESES, passed away after being struck by a vehicle in New Jersey. Delorean would like to express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Jason Ray. JRay has been a great friend to us for the past few years, and we share in the loss felt by so many people whose lives Jason touched. We will never forget his infectious laughter, his enthusiasm for life, and his love for God and fellow man. His life was a powerful ministry. Jason, you will be missed; but we hold steadfastly to the truth that we will see you again one day. Until then, brother.

Delorean, in conjunction with friends and family of Jason, have put together a benefit concert at the Cat's Cradle, with all proceeds going to the Jason K. Ray Memorial Fund. The show is going to be incredible, as it contains groups who had various ties to Jason, culminating in a performance by the group fronted by J. Ray, 9 PM Traffic. Its $5 at the door, and the doors open at 7:30.
