Delorean
is a hard-rock/classic metal band based out of Chapel Hill, North
Carolina. The concept of the band was born from the musical inspiration
of guitarist Dan Cummins and bassist Jeremy Clark who sought to
form an ambitious rock band unconfined by contemporary rock music
stereotypes. They worked their way through various iterations,
joining forces with guitarist/lyricist Johnathon Stone, drummer
Adam Satterwhite, and releasing their debut album, "Dauntless"
with the female vocal stylings of Ruth Ball. As time progressed,
the band began to change musically which resulted in the eventual
inclusion of vocalist Rob Caudle; to be featured on thier upcoming
album.
Drawing upon the influences of each band member, Delorean fuses
musical elements from decades past with progressive song structures.
Interplay among the instruments is complemented by a forceful
vocal presence, making the band's music both energizing and powerful.
In late 2006, Delorean began putting the finishing touches on
the much anticipated follow-up album to their debut, "Dauntless".
The new album, as yet untitled, is set for release in early 2007.
